Way back in 1986, the then Govt. of Kerala headed by Mr.K Karunakaran of Congress decided to start a new engineering college in northern part of kerala under Government sponsorship.
160 students in 4 branches. ECE,EEE,CE and ME.
No permanent buildings. Not even vision on where the campus will be...
Most of the students without any guidance looked lost in the temporary campus of town high school.
Lot of struggle and strikes, a good bunch of dedicated teachers the first two batch students are well placed in different parts of the globe. Doing good.
This blog is to connect all these first timers from GCEK...
Shall we do this as an assignment now.
I shall post the 86ECE & 87ECE batch roll list soon. WE all can put together know how and collate a database.
